I'm looking at some grad schools I may want to apply to in order to pursue a Masters of Music on French horn. A few of the schools' websites said that they do not require the GRE or the subject test, but some of the sites for other schools have not specified one way or another. Would anyone happen to know if, in general, the GRE and/or subject test(s) is/are required for graduate work in music?
