what`s the difference between a keyboard and a workstation? aren`t they all the same? i`m deciding between a yamaha PSR or a DGX. the former has only 61 keys while a DGX has 76. for a newbie like me it doens`t really make much difference, but will it hinder my development in the long term? I`m already 21, and probably won`t go very far anyway. i`m trying to learn the piano as a basic before progressing to the keyboard. which one should i consider? in terms of prices they`re very different, the dgx is much more expensive. Is the difference in DGX significant enough to justify the higher price? i want to be playing pieces like the fur elise even though i`m more inclined toward keyboard pop tunes.
