Lemme look through my collection.....
Old school straight up ska: Let`s Go Bowling, Skatalites, Rico Rodriquez (awesome bone player), New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, Bad Manners, The Toasters, Pietasters, and anything featuring Rico Rodriquez or Don Drummmond.
New school punk/ska: MU330, Skankin` Pickle, Suicide Machines, Tantra Monsters, Less Than Jake, Mealticket, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Link 80 to name a few.
There are some others that don`t really fit in those styles, like Mephiskapheles, an awesome dark/evil/satanic trad. ska band, and of course, the legendary Fishbone, whose early stuff is more ska then funk.

The Scofflaws have some great trombone parts, at least as far as the recordings go. As for now, there`s no trombone player, and we (I`m in the band) miss that. If you want to be our next trombone, let me know!

Five Iron Frenzy was rad, but they broke up.
Dennis Culp was a really awesome trombone player.
Also, the W`s are pretty good.
Much love,
Jonny

Catch 22. Ian has some friggin AMAZING solos on the cd "Alone in a Crowd" Great aggressive tone that has inspired my playing for my band.
And of course Five Iron Frenzy and Reel Big Fish have some great horn lines.

That`s really cool that The Toasters put their sheet music up on their site. My band opened up for them and The Supervillians when they came through Virginia. I gotta say, they are some AMAZING musicians. Every song on their set was really really tight. Same trombone player from the mighty mighty bosstones, too.
