hey, i play in a ska band as well as playing concert brass band and orchestral parts. i have:

Besson BE944 Sovereign Trombone
Holton TR602 Trombone
Yamaha YBL-605 Bass trombone

all of these have quite a mellow sound unless blasted, even the holton

i`m looking for a trombone with a harsher sound that u`d expect from ska, but with a great response, any ideas anyone?

(i`m a grade 8 player, so any trombone will be great, not really beginner ones...
