Well, My band director got my tuning slide working, but now it needs some more grease. He said he got some stuff called lanolin, but i searched for it and came up with nothing. I did find lanolin based grease (which may or may not be the same thing), but not the stuff itself. So I came here to ask you all about your preference, or if all the greases are the same to you.

lanolin is the stuff. its cheap and it works for a long time. i used that stuff till recently

i recieved as a gift from steve ferguson of www.hornguys.com this stuff called Zaja tunin slide oil. it goes on light and last for a long time and makes sure things are moving smoothly. i suggest some of that stuff if your parents are still buyin all your horn accessories.
