HOLY CRAP!

Ok, I was bored and I had a Saxaphone player come over. So we were searching images with Google, and I wondered...if there is a Contra-bass Saxaphone (there is...o_O), will there be a Contra-bass trombone?

So we search, and holy craps...there IS a CONTRA BASS TROMBONE!!!!!

Ok...forgot the link, but basically, its a bass trombone with additional coiling on the SLIDE!!! I`m like What the crap?!

So...what are your opinions?

there are different contra basses. im guessing you came across the mirafone double slide contra bass.


there are different contras like the F and G. they all are different and have a different sound.

on another note if you dig the contra check out the cimbasso. another cool beast

there is also a sopranino trombone

Soprano Trombone I knew...the Trombones that I knew that existed..

Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass....but a Contra-bass....*shivers* look at the sheer size!!

there`s a larger one than a contrabass trombone, it can play a 5th below a Bb Bass!
