There isnt enough trombones in the world to start an email chain. Consider switching to a more appreciated instrument such as the bagpipe. Then you may be appreciated by the band directors.

Im with all of you. Trombones don`t get much attention for all the work we do. i would be happy to join your group. Maybe some day we will be noticed and appreciated more than the trumpet is appreciated.

Yeah.. the trumpets always screw up, so they get noticed, but dependable bones slip by in the backgound.. you don`t notice a good trombonist...

I play trombone in my high school band. We have a very large trombone section, so our band director gives us music that is specially for trombones. We have lots of solos. We are now playing Crzy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, and the trombones have the major part of the song. We are like the stars of the band. Well theres some hope of things changing for trombone players. well good luck in your pursuit of fairness for all trombone players.

I play almost every instrument played commonly in classical and Bassoon is by far the hardest and Trombone is by far my favorite instrument to play. By the way the only instruments that compete with the T-bone in terms of coolness is the French Horn, String Bass, and the bari sax

trombone is way underated, but why is trombone the only instrument that has to share with the baritone in everything, range, notes, only tbones get hosed when it comes to music, baritones get the main part.
