In marching band we have have two(including me) that some people think are weird but they love us maybe a little more than the some other sections. How are the personalities of t-bones at your school?

if you mean personality wise, we got some pretty awsome trombonists me and another dude named david and another dude with really bad pitch named alex....they know we`re the best in the school, and they actually show us respect...
band wise, the clarinets, flutes, saxes, percussion, and trombones are the only sections that have...advanced players.

i might be one of the most well known trombone player in my school district for being so good when i`ve been palying for about a year. But in my middle school...im going to get replaced soon by another kid whos supposivly good, there is only 1 trombone player in the 8th grade band..me...and i think 4 im the 7th grade, but in the marching band there is 4 and were the loudest section in the band. We are known for have really good players as well, we take care of our own, haha, i may be known in the surrounding area, i think my name has been mentioned to the surrounding schools before

Man boners are just the coolest in any group. it is an accurate steriotype. The saxes just want to get laid and the flutplayers are all prude (till they get to the last 2 years of high school then gthety get slutty. )

Trombone players don`t want to get laid? Hmmm... I don`t know where you`re from... Maybe I had a different view, college does change a bit.

Where I`m from, the trombone players are the party folk. The only ones that can keep up, (and sometimes emberass) the percussionists. But then, that`s college, a bit different from the high school scene.

this topic is just lame... and musicman if you get any more arrogant an anvil is going to fall from the sky and kill you. its true.

we`re wierd but proud, and we have a lot more fun than the other sections!!!

At my school, the trombonists, correction, the basses have egos bigger than the trumpet players, and are definitely the most fun, we`re also known to love a good party ...he, he, he....and you know what, you just can`t get it krunk with out us....hey, is that an anvil?...bad joke, i know...

Well, my section kiss, a$$, we are the best, and the most well known. I am the leader of the section. We are all all-region trombonist. That means, that all of us are some of the best trombonist in the north region on Texas.
We are all really cocky. We all deserve a lot of respect, but hand out none.

Pretty much, we are sarcastic butt holes, but, we have the skill to back up our mouth. People hate us, because we are mean, but love us because we are good.

well...i like the attention, but yet i don`t really...i`d rather be just there and be able, to play my music....i really don`t want to be known around. anvils....falling....crushing....fun......lol, when was the last time you saw a anvil fall from the sky and crush someone? i saw that happen last night, lol...

So yea the cool group in any band/symphony is always the bone section. want to know why, well ill tell you. its cause since we first started playing we were in the back row. the heckle row the row where you can get away with any thing. unlike the percussion that is always getting caught (cuse theyhave to stand up) or the flutes that, "went to band camp" and put there flutes you know where and are so close they cant get away with any thing.

Heh, my bands trombone section is the life in our band. We are what makes our band better than it used to be.

At my school right now there only me and another guy named Jordan... its pretty awesome acually since theres only two of us.. everyone knows and loves us... exsept for our section leader whos a Baratone he thinks hes so special even though we can play better than him... And HE Acually thinks BARATONE IS A HARDER INSTROMENT TO LEARN! :O HE`s CRAZY!!! especially if u put into consideration that me and jordan both know baratone just as good as him! Other than him the low Brass is awesome!
