HI,
I right now i`m having problems with my new Yamaha YSL 356G "Silver Plated" Trombone there seems to be an odd vibration within the `F` Router and it`s starting to cause a strange vibrating noise which is louder than whats comming out of my horn (Hard to Imagine isn`t it) I`ve checked all the screws and its not them i`ve check the inside of the router and it seems like nothing is loose. And i still cant seem to get rid of that Blasted sound if you have any ideal what could be causing this noise please tell me about it. Thanks

Colton

Rotors are picky things. I`ve heard the same thing you are talking about, and tried to fix it as well. Everything was tight, and looked like it was working properly, but it wasn`t. Take it to a trusted shop and let them work on it. Something isn`t right, and should be fixed. It doesn`t sound like the bell...

it could be that the soldering has come undone. I have had my conn for like almost 2 years, and the soldering where the f attachment and the bell are reinforced, came undone, so I have to have it redone. Chech and see if all of the reinforcment bars are soldered and not coming lose.

Good chance that it was a bad solder job. Check every single place your horn is soldered together and if there is any space where there should be solder you have your problem.

if you have no idea what im takling about. take it to the BEST shop in town let them know whats happening. play it and show them the problem and it shall be fixed.

I sometimes get that too. Check your slide the lock may not be tight enough.
