alright so im on a tight budget(who isnt) and i really want a bass trombone...im thinking of the getzen 1052
what do you guys think?

Getzen`s are really nice horns, possibly the best on the market thats not a custom horn.
And the 1052 is a nice model, I suggest getting it in Rose Brass if possible.
The only downside is the lack of Thayer valves, but for it`s price it is still a great horn.

I agree, great horn for the price. One of the 2 or 3 best out there in the non-custom world, and the "most moderately priced" of those 2 or 3. I`ve been looking for a friend of mine recently, and I am truly impressed with these beautiful horns.

if i were to buy a bass again(i have a edwards B454) this is the horn id get.
it plays well has got nice character and doesnt have thayers!!!
the valves have got a nice pop to em and they blow well. personaly opinion though.
i say get it. and make sure you try allt he options available thats are out there like choice of metal for the bell.
