Honestly, if your student wants a horn that will make them happy(and will make you happy because of its price) then thats a good thing. as long as he/she is happy then that will motivate them to work. if your worried about reliability then make sure (with a tech) that the horn you are buying is in good shape.


and also, trombone repairs arent usually that expensive. unless you know you keep it in the back of a car and you get in a accident the trombone goes flying and the bell because more of a flat piece of metal...... sigh.....
