The rotor on my horn is litterely frozen, it will not move any, does anyone know what i can do other than take it to a shop? I don`t have the money right now to do that.

i forgot to add, i`ve tried to put rotor oil in it but it did nothing...

depending on the rotor try taking it apart and reasembeling it. It is probobly that there is somthing extra (pencil eraser, crayon that kind of thing) stuck in it. if you have a snake try pushing it through while pushing the trigor. That should be done verry gently so not to cause damage. also try taking just the bell and pooring gasoline down the tuning slide f both the attachment and bell and plug the end of the bell that attaches to the slide with somthing easily removable. the solvant will help release any rust corosion or particles that may be causing it not to work. Caution gass is corosive do not leave it on for more than 30 minits and when done wash the bell in warm watter with mild soap to get all that out of there.

its the biggest rotor i gues on market...a Cl2000....i don`t know how to take it apart, but i don`t think i will try that way, iwould take it to the shop first and have them put gas down it. but i will try the snkae idea first, thanks

ok i got it fix...thanks to a little bit of duct tape and a leathersman...haha, both made in the usa, lol....you may be thinking that i pretty much destroyed that horn, you wouldn`t even tell i did anything, i just covered the leatherman with duct tape so it would scratch it, then i too it and unscrewed the trigger and fixed it like that, but im still takeing it to a shop, thanks for your help though...so now you can just discard this post
