Hey, I`m a senior trombone major in college and have been throwing around some ideas for a senior concert/recital. Instead of doing mostly solo trombone material, I`m planning on doing mostly stuff with other instrumentalists, because thats what I enjoy.
So, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good duets, trios, quartets, or low brass ensemble pieces with a solo part that I could try to find. Maybe even duets or trios with piano accompaniment, I`m not sure if they write those or not. Also any good duets or trios with other brass instruments, mainly trombone/trumpet or trombone/french horn, maybe 1 or 2 of those.
In terms of the pieces themselves, I`m looking for extremely moving (emotional) pieces to perform. Also, one or two weird 20th century pieces that are just goofy and Elegy for Mippy-esque.
Alright, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
