Please people this is a really bad forum! Ive saod this a few times get to the OTJF

There are many pros their and many great players and teachers, who can and will be more than happy to give you the advice you need, its killing me that half the people here are confused by so many things, pleas, get to the OTJ, youll go no where with this place.

Im not some weirdo advertising for them,but honestly trying to get you to the BIGGEST best organised and best staffed trombone forum on the net.

Here you can ask questions, and get them answered properly, if you have no idea what the differenc between a dependant and independent bass trombones is, then it will be explained to you in one post on the OTJ.

I like the OTJ also, and encourage others to discover it as well... but if someone came to the OTJF and said how bad it was, you`d probably be a bit ticked off, now wouldn`t you?

i agree...most of us know about that site, but we like it here.

I think it is likely that some of the purile postings which have gone on here should be reduced not that the forum has a sign on facility, people tend to be a bit more careful when they have to register.

But as far as the OTJF is concerned, yes I agree that the content is quite different and the people regularily using it do tend to be the smore experiened (not saying this applies to all people here). However, since most of the content here seems to be of the younger group of Trombone players, then let them enjoy the forum for them.

By all means tell them about the OTJF so they can make their own minds up, but don`t be heavy handed.

I like to read topics at the "Open Horn" forum, but I`m scared to post there...

So I really can understand that people like to read the OTJF, but are more reluctant to post there... Even if the members there are very nice and patient with some freaking kids (I sometimes call them "bumble bees") Usually they tend to fly away after some time... To come here??? I hope not...
