I am doing some major mouthpiece shopping lately and was wonder what the opinions on mouthpieces for jazz(large and small group), orchestra, concert and small ensemble groups. I would appreciate recomendations for each style as far as brand/ mouthpiece specifications

check out his site. .email doug, tell him what equipment you play on , what kind of music you will be playing, etc.
his mpcs are expensive, but well worth it. he's very helpful also. may take a while to get, but worth the wait.
personally..
he made me a set up with a rim about between a bach 3 and 4, with a large cup and shank for large horn playing, and a very shallow cup with a small back bore for small horn playing.
so i can switch back and forth without the rim feeling any different on my face.. it's been great for me. plus , having lexan rims available are great for cold weather gigs (like the parade we played today)
but the point is, he's very helpful in helping you figure out what is right for you.
