For the last year, as I've been travelling across Canada, Band Supplies Glasgow has held my tenor (Conn 88HCL) and bass (Bach 50B2O) trombones, in order to sell them on my behalf. They have been unsucessful so far, but will be taking them to their stand at the 2006 ITF, if anybody out there is at all interested in a new 'bone.

The specifications for the Conn are here: http://www.cgconn.com/catalog/detail.php?item=88H-CL It is a large-bore Bb/F tenor trombone, with a Christian Lindberg patented valve. Mine has some minor cosmetic damage, but plays perfectly well. I still have both valve caps, but swapped the CL mouthpiece for a standard Bach 5G. Still in its original case.

The Bach's specs can be found here, about half-way down the page: http://www.hickeys.com/pages/bt00ba.htm Like the Conn, it has some minor cosmetic damage, which does not affect playability. It is a "dependant" bass, which means you can't use the 2nd valve unless the 1st is also used. The 2nd valve is pitched in Eb. It comes with it's original (and HUGE) case, and Bach 1.5G mouthpiece.

I am looking for about 700 pounds for each of them. For those of you travelling from afar, I believe this currently translates to roughly 1000 EUROS, 1300 US and 14000 CAN (although I recommend checking http://www.xe.com/ucc/ nearer the time for a more up-to-date rate).

If you have any questions, please direct them towards Band Supplies, as I have been offered work on a cruise ship, and will not be in the country for any large stretch of time. Their contacts page is here: http://www.bandsupplies.co.uk/Contact.asp Cheers you guys.
