The only notes that I can play are middle Bb to the A right below it.

As a euphonium/trombone/baritone player, you should be able to play concert F below the bass clef all the way up to the Bb several leger lines above the bass clef.

Personally, I can play a pedal concert C on Euphonium and all the way up to the D about 6 spaces of the bass clef

more to music than range...it doesn't matter, its not a competition, and nothing to show off about.

Thank you, we can't say it enough. It doesn't matter how high, or low, or fast, or loud we can play.

It ONLY matters how "well" we can play.

Period.

Seriously guys, listen to the guys that've already posted. This is ridiculous and childish. Range is irrelevant, low on the list of important things in trombone playing. Much more important are tone, style, expression, and energy. Range is ONE aspect of playing.

To share a story, a kid at my high school can squeal out dubba C's, but was seated, after auditioning, last chair. The first chair kid can only play up to about a high A. However, he has excels in every other aspect of playing, and his range is slowly but surely improving.

I, fortunately, play euphonium in band, and do not have to sitnext to such immature kids, who because they can play high (in this case, on a pea-shooter bone and 12C mpc) grow a huge ego and think they're the best out there.

Stop worrying about how high you can play, and start worrying about what really matters. Please, stop this nonsense, you're starting to sound like trumpet players...

My range goes from very quiet to very loud
From dixieland jazz to avant-garde
from being musical to being unmusical
from being a section player to being a soloist
from being humble to being outrageous
From Rennaissance to contemporary music

Funny though; no-one ever asked me how high or low I could play . The important thing is the sound you make. If you do not have the sound then you are no use to any group.
Think about it

G'day
Who cares what your range is!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The question is is have you learnt the fundamentals correctly.
What are we playing the best instrument in an orchestra for.
It does not matter how high some people THINK they can play, it all comes down to how good you sound and how well you play. Range is nothing compared to someone with a good sound as they can form that technical ability quicker than some one with a bad sound could form a good sound. Some of the ranges that some of you are saying are IMPOSSIBLE for start as the human facial structure does not have the strength or the ability to put itself to the extremes that you say. for start as twelve year olds saying that they can get the F three octaves above the stave is down right stupid. you want to here something amazing is I live in Australia and at our National contests and other contests and I enter in both the open and Junior events and both events I do not get worst than 4th position. Now for twelve year olds to be saying that they can get notes that only dolphins can here is just a crap load of braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggg. I am currently 15 and have already acquired my Associate in music on trombone one of the youngest in Australia to get it on trombone. For you Non Australians that is an extremely high level of playing and Just to have my little brag I was the only one to get it on Trombone in 2005. Oh and just for the record I can get pedal C right through to the G seven spaces above the Bass clef stave.
Oh and how many of you can hold a lip trill on the seventh harmonic on first position for 30 seconds. And how many of you can trill a perfect fouth interval.
