ok so i have borrowed a trombone from school (long story)

I have no idea what make it is or how old it is, neither does the head of music!

on the bell it says 'melody maker' and that's it. I have tried 'google' but nothing has come up.

could anyone tell me a little more about this particlar make ie is it any good, how old etc. any help would be great

The only Melody Maker I know of is a Gibson solid body guitar that was made in the 60's. But I guess that doesn't help you.
