Hey Im new to this site and I had a question about the Valve Trombone. My band teacher needs me to play the Valve Tbone for our next two parades. They're about a month away so I have time to practice, but are there any of you who could give a trumpet player of 6 years any pointers on how to use this Tbone, especially with the shift in mouthpieces? Any help will be appreciated.

just be relaxed. Learn the clef and you should be straight.

The clef is treble, so thats not a problem. It's the mouthpiece I'm having issues with, and playing too high.

DO NOT SLOW THE AIR, IT WILL KILL THE QUALITY OF SOUND.
