In the near future i will need to have a faster tongue than i have and i was wondering if someone could give me advice on techniques and practice methods to make it faster.Ill be honest,I cant play sixteenth notes at a moderate speed yet.Im very close but not just yet.Also I am trying to learn how to double tongue.Suggestions on that too?Thank you very much.

That's a very broad question, and one very hard to answer online. It would really help if we could see or hear you play to maybe figure out what is slowing your tongue down. Usually it's tension and lack of air support. But we can't tell from here.
Remington's Tonguing on a line exercises are great. The Alessi/Bowman edition of the Arban book has a great section on multiple tonguing.
Maybe you can post a clip of you're playing?

do single tonguing and double tonguing at slow speed and moderately pitched notes first, then increase your speed slowly. You'll start to see the effect after maybe a week of continuous practice. After getting to the desired speed, you may want/try to vary the pitch too so that you can tongue notes in a wider range.
