My friend, who has played trombone for about 2 years now, just got a Blessing trombone with an F-attachment. I hear Holtons and Jupiters are awful, and Bach Strads are awesome, but how do Blessings compare?

Blessings are a good horn. Personally I play on Bach Strads. The thing to remember about Instruments is that you, or your friend in this case, has to find a horn that you are comforatble with. everybody plays different, so everybody requires a different horn. If your friend is comforatble with a blessing great. But don`t be afraid to go into a shop and try out new horns from time to time.

Well that`s cool. It was a surprise birthday gift for her so her parents asked her trombone teacher what kind is good and he tried out one like it and he said he liked the build and stuff so yeah.
