i`ve check all the main places like ebay, but nothing is in my piece-o-crap and price range...i`m thinking that maybe someone out there wants to get rid of a bass real bad and wants to sell it to me...maybe not but its worth a try. thanks!

Well check local listings. Its a big risk to buy an instrument online, it could turn out to be a mistake.
