At my university, we have an annual Latin American Festival. During this festival there is a solo competition that is open to any music major. The winners of the competition get to play a recital during the festival. Usually, it's just a bunch of piano and trumpet majors playing. I want to incorporate the trombone into this competition but I am unfamiliar with ANY Latin American trombone solo literature. I'm open to anything jazz or classic. I want something flashy that will be great for an audience if I win the competition and asked to perform it. Please let me know if you know of anything that can be of some help! Thanks!
