My little brother is really good at the trombone, so i'm trying to get him to teach me.

It's pretty fun! I like playing brass instruments. That just makes me want to learn every wind instrument.

playing the trombone is really easy, and u shouldnt put a bass clarinet mouth piece in a trombone it sould relly damage the instrument

Okay. Right now I know how to play Bb, F, E, and Eb, sort of. I'm going to be able to play sort of good eventually!

If I had someone with more experience on the trombone teaching me, I'd be better off. My brother's really awesome, but he only has almost two years (WOW!) of experience.

My brother has made a science project for school out of teaching me the trombone. Now I HAVE to learn, or his grades will drop, and it'll be all my fault.

I don't think that's going to be a problem.

Forgive me for being the voice of dissent here, but I have to caution you that learning trombone from someone with so little experience is more akin to the blind leading the blind.
Believe me, I'm thrilled that you have found it in your heart to love our beloved instrument, but you'd be doing yourself a great service by working with a qualified teacher, especially in the beginning, when the worst habits tend to get started.

I tend to agree with Steve. A teacher with 15+ years of experience will most likely have rid him/herself of bad habits, whereas a player with only 2 years probably still has a few.

The trombone is such a fun instrument!

When I went back to playing the saxophone on Monday, I got REALLY confused because there was no slide.

I should probably work on sounding GOOD on the trombone soon!

perhaps you could get a good teacher and learn but dont tell ure brother so he thingks he's a great teacher and then he will get good grades and stuff

or give up and learn euphonium
