I have a yamaha F-trigger bass trombone that buzzes on high (above the staff) E-natural and E flat. It also buzzes on the C an octave above middle C. Anyone have an explaination?
Thanx

Could be a lot of things. But without hearing or seeing you play, it's pretty futile to guess.
If nothing else, look over your horn very carefully for loose parts and cracked braces. But I suspect it's not the horn.
Do you have a teacher? This is really a question for someone who can see you in person.

Something is buzzing. Checked your trigger and valve. Is the valve cap screwed on all the way? Are the screws in the stopper plate secure? Could also be connections on the linkages depending what type you have. If you can't find it you a need a teacher, or go down to the repair shop and play it for them. It won't cost much to repair if a brace is starting to separate. It will cost more if you don't get it fixed.

There was a part by the place where the slide screws on to the bell that was punctured. Also the spring on the spit valve is missing one of its legs.
I got them fixed and it buzzes less.
Thanx

My tutor just said to have it fixed.
