The trombone is the closest to the human voice in the sense that they both change pitches the same way. You can glissando with your voice the same way you would a trombone. You actually do it everyday without realizing it 0.o

I agree... we willknow the world has ended when people speak without inflection. tbone is most definitely the easiest instrument i've played to accent and solide and stuff. What did they use to make the teacher's "voice" in the charlie brown shows?

I believe they used a trombone or a trumpet with a plunger mute.
