Hey there everyone

I'm starting looking for a new case : my old Protec is quite heavy and starts tearing appart a bit, plus it can't have backpack straps, only the shoulder strap, which puts the weight always on the same shoulder - it starts to hurt when I have to carry my horn too often.

I'm not thinking of buying another Protec, I now they're not as solid as other brands. So I was thinking about a BAM or a Marcus Bonna. I know MB cases are reknowned for being almost indestructible, although from what I see in the pictures their bone case looks a bit weak (I'm sure it's not, though). I also know many friends have BAM cases that are pretty solid, and quite light. What do you guys think is best?

Marcus Bona is nice, you might also check into ReunionBlues. Lots of good reports about them. I haven't ever seen a BAM with backpack style straps.

The BAM Softpack has backpack straps and the frame is fiberglass so its hard but light.

Reunion blues are more like gig bags no? I'm more into something a bit more solid

Cool- that BAM construction sounds nice, I didn't realize they had a backpack style set up. and Yes, the reunion blues are more like gigbags.
Yea, BAM!
