i recamend lip slurs to hit those notes without a bloodly lip. It could really ruin your sound for a long long time.

You F(^% idiot. I should come over ther and kick your A$$ what do you think you are doing.... Put down the trombone dont ever play it again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look You probobly are relitivly new at the trombone thing. Here is the deal, Dont do that again. EVER!!! that kind of abuse causes your lips to build scar tissue and scar tissue will mess with your sound and you might never get back your tone and clarity.
If you want to ever be aloud to play again(like I can really stop you) Get a private teacher and tell him or her that you want to work on range teqniques. Tell them you want help with "preshure support issues" and dont tell them about playing till your lips blead. Oh one more thing dont play for a few days or you might f%#$ your lips up permanently.
