Mas your not a jerk. I agreee that people need to learn to both transpose and transcribe. If somone posts somthing for bone were in c generaly so if your in bflat that is dn 1 whole step. if your in e that is up a couple steps.
there now you all know how to do it.

Transcribing really is pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. You just have to be very patient and think real hard while doing it. It`s one of the best things we can do, it helps with so many areas of music. Once you get used to the process, it really is easy. Just a lot of repetition and concentration. The easiest way, especially if you are new to the proces, is to listen to just the first note, sing it, get it in your head, sing it again, and match it on piano. Once you have the first note down, the rest are much easier.

Go for it, and remember, it`s supposed to be fun. If you are having trouble, or getting frustrated, put it down, put it away, and take a break. Come back later or the next day with a fresh mind.

And yeah, that song bugs.

I agree. Why would anyone want to learn such a simple and unchallenging song?

1.- Download an evaluation copy of Sibelius at www.sibeluis.com or any sheet music editor that supports midi import
2.- Download the MIDI file at www.findmidis.com or any MIDI library
3.- Load the MIDI file into the sheet music editor
4.- Enjoy
I would attach the sheet music, but don`t know how :-(

I LOVE this song...but of course i love the white stripes because they absolutely, unquestionably ROCK...but anyway, seven nation army is VERY simple and anyone who supposedly plays an instrument should be able to figure out how to play it on their own...it just takes a little work, and if you`re unwilling or too lazy to put in that work, then WHAT ARE YOU DOING PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!
