Currently, I have been playing the trombone for 4 years. These are the two main problems I've had.

1. Hitting high notes is a challenge. I can play f# above the bass cleft once comfortably. I can hit G too, but it doesn't sound very good. What can I do to improve my range?

2. Slurring from high to low notes has been a challenge lately. I've had to go from Eb above the bass cleft once down to middle Ab or G, and boy, does that sound bad! What can I do to improve my slurring like this?
