Do you puff your cheeks? Don`t, its unreinforces the embrochure, only do that when you`ve mastered half of what a pro can. Do you try to challenge yourself to reach too high notes? Don`t, it dangers your embrochure and Range comes NATURALLY with practice.
Do you oftenly Blast (as in BOAMZMZMZ)? Don`t, because it can ruin your embrochure, i know a player who blasted for a day and couldn`t play on the next day.

i don`t know where you`re from but Aussie has AMEB exams, up to grade 6... if you have something like that around near you... maybe you should try doing some, they REALLY help me.
Maybe go watch some pros play - and if you can, ask them 4 some advice.

DONT USE PRESSURE WHILE PLAYING, IF THERE IS A RED RING AROUND YOUR LIPS AFTER 5-10 MINUTES OF PLAYING YOU ARE USING TOO MUCH PRESSURE. To fix this start buzzing on the mouthpiece when it is not on your horn.

Cool! I had to learn the trombone really quickly once and I did all of those bad habits except for the blasting (I hate it when trombones do that when they shouldn`t!) and the puffing the cheeks. I didn`t know all the stuff, about the red rings and stuff. It doesn`t matter though cuz I dont play the trombone anymore.

Well I kindof agree with what was said here, but I think that you do need to stretch your embochure a little bit. Say if the highest note you can play is a C above the clef, then you should try playing in your practice time, a C major scale ending in the D above the clef. Do it a few times, not too many, or that other person is right, you will mess with your embochure. The good thing is, your muscles will heal if you do mess them up and in a little bit of time they will play right again. You need to stretch, just not too much.

take lessons... and make sure you are tounging rite
i found out this year after playing for 4 years that all along i was tounging wrong and i have had to reteach myself and it is very hard
make sure you are using a ta or te sylable when you are playing ... and use lots of air...not pressure
i had a bad habbit of that too and had to relearn it all

if thiers a certian note thats to high for you make sure the corners of your ambiture are tight and increase air speed if u still cant seem to hit it take off your mouthpiece and buzz the pitch of the note you want to hit this will get your ambiture used to playing the right way for high notes

another problem that i have is a havent been able to reach the high "E" and "F" notes and sometimes the "D" is there anything that i could do to improove to play these notes?

Yea right... Here it is dont quit. Learn to love it and to practice religously. The trombone is much like a beautiful woman treat her with respect and pay atention to all her nuances and she will love you.
