I`ve just added a "Dennis Wick mouthpiece booster: Usa large fitting" to my current Back 1 1/4 G mouthpiece.
The thing is that my "lower bass-playing" now sounds more like a small tuba....
Should I remove it....
I`m using a dual valve Edwards basstrombone.

More weight=better sound. Leave it on.

Great, but how is your upper range? The problem with what your using is that it`s cheating in a way, because your using it to get a better lower range instead of more air, and it will be a lot A LOT harder to get upper range

My upper range isn`t to bad (consider that I`m using a 1 1/4 G moth piece from Bach).
The highest note that is ok to play is C flat (1 oct. over "standard" C flat)
