Yeah... I saw that instrument on there too... The description says that it has a 9 inch bell. I know that most large bore tenors have 8 1/2 inch bells. Most bass trombones have 9 1/2, 10, or 10 1/2 inch bells. It looks like a King 3B to me, the guy must have rounded the diameter of the bell up to 9 inches.

Well having just went and played it (cause i want it)oh yea i live in portland. Im sure it is a 4b cause it uses the large shang mouthpiece but has a bell the same size as the 3b w/Fattachment. I think it plays prety good it has a small(really small)slow spot just short of 4th position. Any instrument tech shold be able to fix it.
Hope this ansers it for you if not then go sleep with your neighbors wife that alwayse helps.

Yeah.. I think you`re right. the guy did edit his auction and said that it has a .563 bore. I didn`t read that earlier, and he also says that it takes a large shank. I believe it is a 4B as n0tshort said.
