I know Im sorry some times I start or am easily drawn in to a pi$$ing contest. (I can just pee farther and my pee is more colorfull) Im sorry to any body i offend, I just hate it when somone says that ther the best cause being the best is relitive. I`m a girl trombone player as well. I just LOVE this instrument. More than my friggin` life. Ha...
I grew up in MS 6th-7th grade being the only girl bone. In hs we have 4 (including myself) girl trombones in each classmen level. (1 fish soph junior senior..)
I`m a freshman in HS right now. I`ve taken the whole trombone experience more seriously now. I`ve never felt so greatly attached to it. (Who CAN`T?!??)

Are any of you boners from illinois? cause my old trombone teacher (mr. glassal) went there and i miss him and i wonder what hes up to. Im from a band in minnesota but i live in germany now.(not as great as it may seem but yeah) and as soon as i left my band got to go to chicago! talk about no fair. now im in a band with 2 other(guy) tboners. sooo fun:P also have any of you heard of Mrs Ericksen from utah? shes here now.

Jess, I can surely attest to how your bf feels about you playing trombone. I quite honestly feel that women who play trombone are just about the most beautiful creatures God has put on this earth. The sound of the instrument itself stops me in my tracks and is immediately intoxicating to me. To see a woman play this wonderful instrument is lovely beyond words. Just the motivation of a woman to want to play this instrument such a beautiful thing. You ladies, please keep up the good work. It`s great to have you in this world! I would love to meet one sometime.

I got bored and was browsing around this forum, then I saw this thread, la dee dah. I am amazed at the number of other girl trombone players there are out there besides myself (Yep, I`m one) and how many guys say they like girl trombone players. I mean... wow. I`m going to high school marching band next year, and I am really excited about that, and this thread has jist fanned the flames. Thanks!

Well im glad all these guys write about how good the female trombone players are because otherwise how would the world know? I love the trombone and i love music, so when people say that they do too it makes me happy. Even the ones who dont play the trombone, good job on bringing music back to the world!! I love you guys

Jess, I understand what you mean about no one knowing about women playing this instrument. There seems to be kind of an annoying prejudice among a lot of guys and the music industry in general. I think that is going to change for the better. I also think that music is one of the best things in this world and I value it very much. I don`t play trombone but I sing (jazz, big band, etc.) and play rhythm guitar. And I just love the sound of the trombone. It much prefer it to saxophone, especially soprano!
