Ok well....There similar but diferent. Depending on the kind of technique you use, for the trumpet. Alot of trumpet players ancor the moputhpiece on there top lip and play with there bottom lip doing a lot of the work. now this will work for tbone but is not the best way. On a tbone you have a larger mouthpiece (not new info here) so you want both lips to work close to even. the way this is achieved is by placing the rim of the cup against the bottom lip (preferably just under where you might put lip liner, you are a girl right? ) then slowly tilt the horn back till it just seals when you are buzzing. This also achieves a "right down the pipe" emboshure, which gives you a better tone and response. I hope this helps. Oh by the way I cant spell. If you have any other questions just ask. Oh last thing maby hook up with a teacher for a couple lessons on buzzing and mouthpiece position. Good luck
