yea...trombone is really fun to play...especially for us girls. it shows that girls can play manly instruments too!!! really there is no specific place for positions you just gotta feel it. just hang in there youll get it. I sucked as a beginner but now i am sittin first chair in the Marion Patriot Pride Band!!! Email me if you want. Softballchik1419@yahoo.com HOLLA!!! EJ

Try these little frickers..I didn`t memorize um when I was young, well, im still young..(15) i meant i didn`t memorize them in middle school..anywho. Now Im screwed. I`ve been searching all over for a whole buncha scale positions so here`s two for you cause I feel nice today...
Gminor=4-2-1-6-4-2-5-4-1-3-4-6-1-2-4

D minor=4-2-1-4-2-4-2-1-3-1-2-4-1-2-4

No one in here yell at me for giving positions instead of notes! It`s easier for me. Oh, and you might not want to start off with these scales..don`t know when you start learning minors.

Buy the book already. Any book, as long as it has all the scales in it. Everyone should have one, no matter how good you are. Go buy it, so you will always have it.
