Ok this is another stupid thing. Why dont you just spend the money for the book? Whoever wrote that music spent probabaly half of a year composing that music and you just want to steal it. What if i were to go to your job and steal stuff all day long and never considered you at all. Its just not right to be getting all this free music.

And if you cant afford it transcribe it yourself.

Buy it your self.

Ok so no the music in these solo books are generaly not tough. But you can still get better playing them. Play the solo as writen a few times then try taking it up or down an octive. Maby try to play it double time. Try to adlib (with a sense of musicality of course).

Here is the thing I play semi pro subing ocasionally with symphonies and playing bar gigs i also have a few student and I love playing those acompanied solos. It helps you devlope a sense of musicality and a feel for diferent styles of music. It also gives you one persons version of the song. A little story, I learned my funny valentine out of one of those books, at a gig somone asked for it but our groupe didnt have it. I have it memorized so i just gave them the cord progression (straight a head 12 bar blues really sassy) and then I played it. We got a really nice tip.

Any music you play no matter how "easy" has its merrit and will help you be better if you work it.
