Well, tomorrow we meet at school at 7:15 AM and travel to our All-Region tryouts for band. I play trombone as many of you know, and I haven`t practiced hardly at all. I would like to make it, as I`m a sophomore and I`m better than everyone else in my section except 3 seniors.
Incase you`re thinknig "haha 10th grade music, big deal." Here is a snapshot of exactly what I`m up against, this is just one of the more challenging pieces...

I`m competing against probably 150-250 other sophomores, juniors, and seniors in my region for one of 20 positions in the band. Good luck, me.

i dont remember the lines from Jeff Reynolds bit about auditions. but if your not prepared for the audition before you find out about the audition then you already lost the part. Get it? no? well.... GO PRACTICE.
