I have an audition on saturday and really need a cool solo to play, I play tuba, not t-bone, but I could just transpose it and play it an octave lower. Please, any solo you t-bone players like, please email it to me (ariasfx@wp.net.pa), or post an url here.
Thanks in advance,
Xavier

Here is a good way to look for solos. For everyone, not just tuba players. Look at the websites for major universities and concervatories, and look at what they require for admissions. Some of them will list actuall solo works, so take that as a beginning. Also, you can go to sheet music stores, like Hickeys or J.W. Pepper, and cruise through their catalog for solo works. Easy.
They will probably take longer than a week to arrive, so you might be out of luck for this weekend. See if you can find something in your school library, or contact friends that might have something.

I live outside the US, so ordering off the net isn`t an option, it would take forever to arrive. I`ll try the school music library tomorrow.
but if anyone has any good solos, I`m still open for suggestions.

What country? Does your country have an equivalent of Hickeys? If not, yeah, just ask around or attack your school library.
