I`ve been looking for trombones to buy, im in the 7th grade beginning band. According to everyone around me, im a good player, but now i need my own horn. I already know a Conn 88H is the best horn on the market with F attachments. But i want one with a opitional F attachment for like jazz. I want one that you can take the F attachment off, i forgot what model it is, but conn and bach make them. Would that type of horn be a good type for what im going to use it for?

The convertible models don`t make much sense, unless you get something smaller. The difference between a jazz horn and a classical horn is not the trigger, but the bore size. The 88H is a pretty good classical horn, but for jazz, especially lead stuff, you might want something smaller.
Personaly I would recommend checking out the Bach 16 or King 2B or 3B. Great jazz horns.

at this level a good intermediate bore would work well too. IE bach 36. good .525 bore and can do both if you teach yourself properly

Don`t say the 88-h is the best out there, there is no such thing. I use an 88-h, but thats because it works for me (for classical) and I use a peashooter made by Getzen in the 40`s (really cool biding) called The Dude 60.
It`s worth it to buy 2 seperate horns, But I wouldnt worry about buying something really classy for a couple of years.
