I am a Sierra Leonean and greatly touched by the sound of a violin, and would love to have my daughter someday learn to play the violin. But there are no teachers/schools for such an instrument in Sierra Leone or neighboring countries. My daughter is getting onto 2 years and by her third birthday, I would like to introduce her to such an instrument, in the hope of providing her a different option in life if she grows up to like it. I don`t know how best to provide her this opportunity and certainly looking at exploring some options, and open to suggestions offered by anyone out there. If there is anyone out there thinking of vacationing or residing in Sierra Leone some years down the line and would be interested in offering lessons for beginners for a small fee and or in exchange for lodging and assistance with sightseeing and other options, I would love to hear from you. Or better, if you have another option I should look into, please let me know. I guess I am starting too early, but just interested in preparing for any options that exist before she gets old enough to start something like that. Thanks, Aiah.
