My bridge on my violin is leaning inward. Is there anyway I can straighten that out, or do I need to take it to the shop? I herd bridges are very fragile and break easily. Is that true?

I think it`s probably more likely to break if you leave it the way it is. It`s more likely to become unstable and snap down onto the face of the violin, possibly snapping in half at the same time, and also letting the tailpiece fall in as well (which can have disasterious consequences if you have fine tuners). You can correct it yourself if you firmly grip the bridge using two hands and adjust it very slowly. Or take it into a shop/music store and ask them to do it if you`re not comfortable.

you can also tune the strings way down and do it. Much easier...

i know why. there is this guy who fixed my violin and he said if the bridge ever gets crooked, than start to staiten it but i dont know what yours looks like so it might break if you staiten it. it can happen if you dont move it when it first starts to move. so my advice is to take it to a shop cause if your try it might break. and the people at the shop can give you info so it wont happen again.

loosen all the strings using the pegs before you straighten it, then sraighten it, then just tune the violin again, but dont try to touch it with the strings tightened as it will only snap from all the pressure!
