I was wondering, when they say "scales and arpeggios in 3 octaves," does that include ALL the arpeggios that would be found in the Carl Flesch scale book, or only the first two that are usually heard during auditions? I`m not sure how clear this is, if there is confusion let me know, I`m a bit confused myself. Thanks for your help!

You need to be able to play all the specified 3 octave scales.

I realize that. It was the arpeggio part that I was confused about since there are so many of them. Are you expected to know ALL of the arpeggios?

Do you only need to know the tonic major and minor? Or also the Sub mediant and all those other arpeggios?

O I see. I should read more carefully before I answer!

I would expect only the root position ones, plus dominant and diminished sevenths. Better email the institution and check though.
