I have an old violin and i was looking for a way to make it glossy or shinny like an expensive brand new violin. What product do i go and buy?.

Forget it, it can`t be done and you wouldn`t want to do it even if you could. Cheap new violins are shiny because they are finished with sprayed-on nitro varnish. Revarnishing a violin with that, even of you could do it, would merely send it`s value down through the floor.

well i have violin and i have guitar polish and it works on my violin too...but if u do try that first ask the people at the store if it will work cause your violin might have a different wood than mine and it might mess it up idk but it does polish it and make it a little shinier but first ask the people so it does not mess it up.

Expensive violins are not necessarily shiny. In fact they usually are not particularly shiny. See Liz above.

If a violin is a bit grimy, i`m sure that any violin shop should sell polishes (i was acually thinking of getting some myself). However, i also agree that a very shiny violin is not particularly attractive.
