19th - 22nd of October, there will be a musical instruments show in ShangHai, in there, I can meet some top level bow makers in China include my friend bow maker (http://www.chineseviolins.com/New_Violin_Bow_Case.asp), I can go there to select very good bows one by one from hundreds at the same price as their wholesale price. If I can receive enough orders from you, then it is worth me to go there. The bow is around 65g in weight, made of top quality Brazilian Pernambuco wood with 7k gold accessories, price range is US$600 - US$1200, some sticks may have tiger strips patterns. If you are interested in the bow, please send me a email asap, I only go if I can receive your orders that worth me to go, you have to be a serious buyer as I will spend everything at my cost, there is no deposit needed, again, I will select the top ones for you, this is a good opportunity.

You know, Bai Xi Ling, you`re just far too expensive. Try a more realistic mark up if you want to sell more.

65 grams is on the heaviest side for violin. How is the balance, speed, bounce?

If the stick is softer, then the weight is lighter, but bouncing MAY BE NOT so good, however, if the stick is a bit harder, the bouncing is better, but the weight is heavier, all we can say is that the bit harder stick can improve the bounce, but can`t be too heavy. of course the speed and balance will be affected. this is a conflict issue.

The 65g is not the heaviest, if the stick has tiger strips, then it may be 70g.

I have someone told me that his 2 bows, one is French, one is English, they both weight 65g, and there is no difference between my one and his ones in quality.

I have decided to go the show,as I have got enough orders, I will bring a scale to weight the bows, of course I will choose the lighter ones if the quality is the same.

The show start from 19th, but I will be there in the 18th, and I will stay in the same place as the bow maker will stay, so I have the opportunity to choose first.

Some one asked me how do I choose it if I don`t play it, I don`t play it, because that is too slow and that will make the bows becoming used. I have my way to choose without play it.

By the way, if you buy a bow today better than you buy a bow tomorrow, because some resource from the earth may become less and less...
