hi guys,
I have a slippy bow and `m pretty sure its not due to lack of rosin. Does slipping happen when you get rosin build up on the stings? Can strings get slippy when they are old? Can a ;bow have too much rosin?
any advice?

Yes, a bow can have too much rosin on it. I wipe mine off every few months with a soft, CLEAN cloth. It then requires a new buildup of rosin before it sounds good again.

Try using a similar cloth to wipe the strings off as well - I do this several times a week at least. I suppose you could wear down the strings a bit, but I`m sure they would be dead long before that.
