do you know how much it would cost for this work to be done on a 50-year-old 1/2 size violin?
-new bridge
-bow: knob is stiff and the hairs are thick with grease/dirt
-shoulder rest
-needs a soundpost, i think; can't see one in there
-new g string peg
-4 new strings
-what is the cheapest price you can get a new case for?
-the cord that holds the tailpiece on needs to be replaced i think- it is too long and the tail piece is to far up the body
-needs a good clean on the front, tailpiece and the fingerboard part that's along the body to get off these tiny strange white specks. i don't know what it is- looks a bit like little dots of paint, like you would get if you left it in a room that had been redecorateed an hour beforehand. also looks like there's a piece of Sellotape hardened on.

i know. who would let a violin fall into such bad condition? i bought it cheap in a charity shop..don't worry, i'm taking it to my usual luthier soon- just wondered i anybody out there had an estimate?

<Added>

btw i'm not sure of the maker. there is a Strad label inside but i'm pretty sure it's fake. it says
Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonenfis
Faciebat Anno 1793
i'm not sure if it says 93 or 43...i think it's 93. the label is typed except for the 93 which is handwritten. i appreciate your help very very much. thanks.

sorry I forgot the soundpost. Add $25.00 for the new soundpost.

Good for you Vietviolin, to work on violins for so cheep. I can`t make a Decent bridge in less than an hour. About the cheepest bridge plank I can find is $2.50 , were are you getting yours?
It takes me about as long to make and set the soundpost too. I can spend 3 hour to set-up a new violin. I sell the Kapok brand (pearl River violins). I have been doing this now for 8 years.
Vietviolin, How long have you been working on violins?
