It depends on what you mean by do it your self. If you mean put the original back, then all you need to do is push it into the hole. DO NOT USE ANY GLUE! Sorry if you knew, but best to be on the safe side with these things. If it will not stay in then you need a new one. Unfortunately, to fit it you need a peg shaver to get it to the right size. You can probably do it, but the shaver would probably cost as much as a repair if not more. Hope that helps.

i've decided to just take it to a repair shop and have someone else do it for me...since you said a buying a shaver would cost as much...thanks a lot!
