i just saw a very small white bug (not sure if it has legs) crawling in my case and i killed it immediatly

is that the kind of bug that eats wood or something? what should i do!?!

I have that in my case also, and Eeuk! sometimes on my violin. If they are small, then relax, they are not termites. Termites will eat away the wood, but I dun these small white ones will. But a colleuge once told me that they are bad for the wood also, but not in an appetizing way, I presume. Try cleaning the violin along with the case, put it somewhere dry and clean, and as a last resort: put a packet of salica gel inside the case.
