I have a violin I inherited from my father, and on the back at the top, it is stamped with two black stars and the word BRAND under it. It dates to circa 1920, and I think my grandmother may have bought it used. I'm wondering who made it, and where it might have been bought. I thought it might be a catalog violin from Sears or Montgomery Ward, but I haven't been able to find anything like it in their catalogs. It's a COPY of Guarnerius violins, but I guarantee you it's not an original, genuine one, LOL!

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me in finding out about the history of this violin.
